Lovin it!

My workout lately have been more fun and rewarding than usual. When I hit the gym or workout outside I get into this zone where I can push myself harder than ever, I feel so alive! Now to get you up to speed with what I’ve been doing since my last post.

Last friday I did a lift session at the gym in the evening and all I can say is, if you haven’t been to a gym on a friday night, GO! I was the only person in the whole place, all the machine and weights were mine hahaha. Despite all that joy there were a few slip ups that night. I attempted to do a set of pull ups but was unable to do any :( In my defense this was the last exercise I attempted to do before I left the gym and it was a major upper body day.

Saturday morning I went for a few mile run with my trainer (I will be posting more details about her in a future post, she’s awesome) this run included sprinting up and down hill, stops for balance, strength training, and stretching. Sunday was a very nice rest day. Monday I locked myself out of my car so I was lucky enough to catch a ride with a friend to the gym. I did a sweet session of pump. Last night was flow and I was complimented on my flexibility which I knew had improved but it was nice to hear it. Tonight was another super fun session of pump, my biceps are killing me. Now I’m off to enjoy some creatine and a protein shake. One last thing before I sign off, my gym is so wonderful, I cannot say enough good things about it. Every time I go to work out I’m greeted by staff and other members, it’s one big fitness community and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.
